Requirements:  BACHELORS DEGREE IN COMPUTER SCIENCE, INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY, SYSTEM ADMINISTRATION OR RELATED FIELD. Experience:  MINIMUM 5 YEARS EXPERIENCE IN NETWORK ADMINISTRATION OR SYSTEM ADMINISTRATION, REPORT WRITING SKILLS EXPERIENCE. EXPERIENCE WITH SCRIPTING AND AUTOMATION TOOLS.
Salary:  KSHS. 200,000 - 250,000 PLUS COMPANY BENEFITS
Additional Attributes:  SAP CONSULTANT POSITION IS ESTABLISHED WITHIN IT DEPARTMENT AND PERFORM THE FOLLOWING RESPONSIBILITIES:- PERFORMS PLANNING, ANALYSIS, DESIGNING, REQUIREMENTS DEFINITION, FUNCTIONAL DESIGN, DEVELOPMENT, TESTING AND IMPLEMENTATION OF IT SOLUTIONS. PROVIDES SUPPORT FOR DIFFICULT AND COMPLEX SYSTEM ENVIRONMENTS. PROVIDES SUPPORT, ASSISTANCE AND TRAINING TO USERS. COORDINATES ACTIVITIES SIMULTANEOUSLY FOR MULTIPLE PROJECTS. GENERATE CUSTOM REPORTS AND DASHBOARDS FOR MANAGEMENT REPORTING. GENERATION OF REPORTS USING CRYSTAL REPORT WRITER, QUERY REPORTS. CUSTOMIZATION OF SAP TO UPGRADE EXISTING SET UP. FIRST LEVEL TROUBLESHOOTING OF COMPLAINTS. TRAINING EXISTING AND ANY NEW STAFF SO THAT THEY ARE ABLE TO OPTIMALLY USE THE SYSTEM. WORK WITH TOP MANAGEMENT TEAM TO DEVELOP A 3 YEAR PLAN ON SAP AND WORK TOWARDS IMPLEMENTATION OF THE SAME. COORDINATE WITH ERP VENDOR TO RESOLVE ISSUES. MEETS WITH DECISION MAKERS, SYSTEMS OWNERS, AND END USERS TO DEFINE BUSINESS REQUIREMENTS AND SYSTEMS GOALS, AND IDENTIFY AND RESOLVE BUSINESS SYSTEMS ISSUES. ENSURES COMPATIBILITY AND INTEROPERABILITY OF INHOUSE COMPUTING SYSTEMS. REVIEWS AND ANALYSES THE EFFECTIVENESS AND EFFICIENCY OF EXISTING SYSTEMS AND DEVELOP STRATEGIES FOR IMPROVING OR FURTHER LEVERAGING THESE SYSTEMS. CREATES SYSTEMS MODELS, SPECIFICATIONS, DIAGRAMS AND CHARTS TO PROVIDE DIRECTION TO APPLICATION DEVELOPERS. COORDINATES AND PERFORMS INDEPTH TESTS, INCLUDING END USER REVIEWS, FOR MODIFIED AND NEW SYSTEMS. CONDUCTS RESEARCH ON SOFTWARE PRODUCTS TO JUSTIFY RECOMMENDATIONS AND TO SUPPORT PURCHASING EFFORTS. TRAINING: COACH TEAMS AND PROVIDE TECHNICAL EXPERTISE. PERFORMANCE: SET DEPARTMENT OBJECTIVES AND DDIS. REVIEW AND ASSESS ONGOING PERFORMANCE. WEEKLY REPORT ON ACHIEVEMENT OF TARGETS AND IDENTIFY ANY ACTIONS REQUIRED AMONG YOUR TEAM. ENSURE COMPANY POLICIES ARE ADHERED. BE THE ROLE MODEL IN ADHERING TO POLICIES. MONITOR THE COMPLETION OF TASKS OF EXECUTIVE ICT AND ENSURE GOOD PERFORMANCE AND RECORD ON APPROPRIATE SYSTEMS. ENSURE (EXECUTIVE ICT) SENDS ROI (RESULTS FOR THE WEEK, OBJECTIVES FOR THE FOLLOWING WEEK AND ISSUES OR INITIATIVES THAT HE MAY HAVE TO IMPROVE THEIR PERFORMANCE). PARTICIPATE IN PERFORMANCE APPRAISALS AS PER PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT PLAN.
